Luca is our brave, strong, and bright little boy. Born with a heart full of love and curiosity, Luca has always been fascinated by the world around him. From a young age, he developed a love for rockets, spaceships, and the wonders of space—he knows all the planets in order and could spend hours gazing at the stars. His favorite shows are Paw Patrol, but what really lights him up is anything related to the moon, the sun, and exploring the universe. Our world changed on May 15th when Luca was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Since then, we’ve been by his side every step of the way as he battles this illness with more courage and strength than we could have ever imagined. His journey has had its ups and downs, but Luca continues to face each day with the same spark and determination that has always made him special. As his parents, we’re sharing Luca’s journey here to not only keep our loved ones updated but also to document this chapter of his life—one filled with hope, love, and resilience. We want this space to be a source of inspiration for others, a place where people can follow Luca’s progress, and, most importantly, where we can come together as a community to lift him up.
